The Humble Path

To walk the humble path, where pride takes flight,  

Is to hold onto the word of Jesus Christ and to cherish God’s light.  

It’s the smile of a stranger, the hand that we lend,  

Shows the power of humbleness, a character that will never end.

To listen with patience, to give without a thought,  

Are the fabrics of living and that these lessons should always be taught.  

When pride tries to rise like a wave on the shore,  

We should hold fast to being humble because in return we will receive much more.  

In the strength of the meek, in the grace that they find,  

Humbleness teaches us that your character is one of a kind.

So lets be mindful, as we journey through time,  

To walk with humility, is to rise and to climb.  

For in lifting each other, our spirits will soar,  

And the heart of the humble will open each door. 

With love and humility being woven in life, 

Lets keep them together and keep them in our site

For humbleness creates a world that is divine.  

It allows each day to be refine

So together we will flourish, like a harmonious song,  

In the spirit of humility, is where we all can belong.
