Awesome God

When I open my eyes to your morning light,  

I can see the dawn break free from your creation of night,  

Your whisper stirs up a gentle breeze,  

Reminding me of a new day and that my mind should be at ease.  

Your mountains that are high to your valleys that are deep,  

Shows the power that you have to maintain the nature that you keep,  

The flowers bloom, the rivers sing,  

All creation dances, praising our God and our King.  

With stars that shine in the endless skies,  

Each one with a promise, that love never dies,  

You paint the heavens with colors so bold,  

Show stories of grace from each star that unfolds.  

The mighty oceans roar and hits the shores with a crash,  

But with the power that you have God this is nothing but a splash,  

From coral reefs that cover the shores so wide,  

Shows how much your presence abides. 

Your mercy flows like a river so clear,  

Washing away every doubt and all of our fears,

In every tear, you find our pain,  

And in our joy, you give us a way to sustain.  

Your heart is so vast, it knows no bounds,  

In every heartbeat that we are given, your love resounds,  

You lift up the broken, you restore the lost,  

In the warmth of your grace, we find out that there was no cost.  

So let us lift up our voices high,  

In songs of praise that reach the sky,  

For Awesome is our God, we declare,  

Because in every moment, He’s always there.  

From the tiniest seed to the grandest tree,  

In every heartbeat, you will always be alive in me,  

With awe and wonder, we stand to be amazed,  

From the light of your love, forever you will always be praised .
